VENUE
Event is held at Newmans Motorsport complex located at 375 Railway Road, Moranbah QLD 4744. Turn
off Peak Downs Highway onto Moranbah Access Road, follow for 10km. Turn left onto Railway Road,
follow for 2.5kms. There will be signage for both spectators and competitors.

ENTRY DETAILS
Entries will open on approval of Supplementary Regulations from AASA. The entries must
be completed in full and accompanied by the entry fee or proof of payment. They must be
lodged with the Event Secretary preferably via email.
Entries will close on Monday 15 July 2024. No Entries will be accepted on the day.
Entry Fee is $280.00 which includes a $30 My laps transponder fee.
Future Champions Entry Fee is $210 which includes a $30 My laps transponder fee
There is a $20 camping fee per person 16 years & over. This must be paid with the entry fee.

EVENT DESCRIPTION AND DETAILS
The event will consist of up to 6 sections. Each section being up to 3 laps of a track which will be
approximately 12km in length.
Saturday: 1 lap of the track, after which vehicles will be seeded then up to 3 sections of up to 3 laps.
Sunday: up to 2 sections up to 3 laps.

Future Champions will do 1 lap of track in their own heat at the end of each section.
Presentation will be held on Sunday afternoon at the race track as soon as possible after the completion
of the race.

Starting Order Posted: Friday by 9.00 pm
Recovery Crew Briefing Saturday: 7.00 am
Drivers Sign On: Saturday: 7.00 am
Drivers Briefing Saturday: 7.15 am
Reconnaissance Starts Saturday: 7.45 am
Start of Competition Saturday: 8.30 am

Presentation: After completion of competition ASAP

SCRUTINY
Scrutiny will be held at event headquarters on Friday 19 July 12pm – 4.30pm
All competing vehicles and compulsory clothing and safety gear must be scrutineered before they will
be allowed to participate in the event.
Future Champion drivers must present with their vehicle for safety assessment of seats and harnesses
and protective apparel.
Scrutiny may proceed past the official closing time; however, competitors or crews must have registered their presence with the Chief Scrutineer prior to the closing time.

TOWN PARADE
All competitors will be required to participate in the town parade. All drivers and passenger
must attend the Police Briefing at the track at 5pm
Vehicles will be required to be lined up ready to leave the track at 5.30pm. We will then proceed into
Town Square under police escort. The maximum speed limit is 60kph. Race apparel is not required to be worn however seat belts will be required to be worn by all passengers. Goggles or clear eye protection is recommended. All Qld Road Rules apply including 0.05 BAC limits.
The vehicles will be parked in Town Square under the direction of officials and will on show until 8.30pm when they will released and travel back under police escort back to the track.

Food will be available in Town Square as no catering will be available at the track Friday night.

CANTEEN
Catering will be available from Saturday onwards. Breakfast and all-day catering available from 7am
Saturday until lunchtime Sunday.
