The 2023 ARB Mickey Thompson QLD Off Road Racing Championship will officially get underway this weekend with the opening round, the Pat Diesel Services Dalby 100 hosted by the Gympie Auto Sports Club.
After the event’s postponement in mid-February, 72 crews across thirteen classes will converge on the property Weranga for the QLD opener. With last year’s victor Stuart Chapman #815 running the teams Class 8 Triton, his brother Clayton #15 himself a two time Dalby champion not competing, the large field will be led by Class 6 hard chargers Zac Marsh #614, and Josh Weidman #6105. Others to watch for outright honours include Rohan Williams #29, Tony Fehlhaber #138, Steven Kildey #412, Richard Tassin #691, Christian Trusz #816, and Steven Orr #1051.
Close battles across all classes are again expected at Dalby; with Aaron Phillis #44, property owner Pat Philp #182, Taylor Teichmann #236, Dan McKenzie #451, Tyler Youman #527, Kate Swinglehurst #631, Luke Brandon #690S, Katelyn Long #6626, Amber Topfer #722, Steven Ash #862, Brett Baker #1091, Symon Knight #1175 and Toby Musico #6688 amongst the notable names set for battle.
