The race event has an off-road car (auto) event and a bike (moto) event on the same weekend
at different times. Off Road vehicles race in the morning and bikes race in the afternoon.

The event will consist of the race starting in the Bowen township on bitumen at Event Head
Quarters and using a closed public road to race to the Don River. The track will then enter the
riverbed where there will be an approximately 50km loop lap in the riverbed. The race will be 3
laps of the track in the river each day and then back along the road section to the finish line at
Event HQ. While in the riverbed there will be limited course markings. The track is the bed of the river and there will be multiple race lines.

CAMPING
There will be camping available at the Bowen Showgrounds for competitors and crew only from Thursday 5 th till Monday 9 th with showers and toilets available which is included in the entry fee.
Due to restrictions in the size of the complex only 2 cars will be permitted to camp with each competitor entry. Competitors who would like to have extra vehicles in the camping area will have to apply for a pass and they will be either granted or denied in the days leading up the race depending on space available.

Entries shall be capped at 120 entries, determined by order of entry receipt. Any competitors who enter after the first 120 will be placed on a wait list.
