AORRA Rule Change Affiliated Club Voting Form - Class 6 Track Width 130924
Referencing AASA Vehicle Requirements for Off Road Racing Events V3.0- February 2023
Recently, an application for a rule change was submitted, focusing on specific vehicle requirements of class 6 buggies.
Specifically, this proposal affects:
- Rule number 2.7 (9.3) AASA Vehicle Requirements for Off Road Racing Events
Currently, the regulations stipulate that Personal Recreational Vehicles (CLASS 6 Buggies) are permitted to have a track width of no more than 2000mm measured from outside to outside of tyres unless manufacturers wheel track is wider in standard or factory option configuration.
The rule change application is proposing the following changes:
- Personal Recreational Vehicles (CLASS 6 Buggies) are permitted to have a track width of no more than 2100mm measured from outside to outside of tyres unless manufacturers wheel track is wider in standard or factory option configuration.
If you are an affiliated AORRA club, actively hosting AORRA sanctioned events, you are eligible to vote.
Each club must hold a meeting with its members to discuss the proposed rule changes before submitting a vote. After consultation, each club is entitled to one collective vote, representing the consensus of its members.
