With Covid19 measures starting to be eased in many states our resumption of Off Road Racing is getting closer. Many clubs and committees are working hard at planning for events to take place in the very near future.
When restrictions do lift, the QLD based Burdekin club are in preparation for an event on the weekend of June 6-7, and following that the Gympie Club is discussing a date soon after for the Dalby short course.
Also the Griffith Off Road Club are well underway in preparing for the possibility of holding the first round of the ARB Australian Off Road Racing Championship on the original scheduled date of July 3-5.With recent rains in the area it will be nice and green once again guaranteeing great racing.
We will be keeping all competitors up to date with news on these events through our social media pages and website and hope to have full confirmation along with entry forms and supplementary regulations for
these events in the very near future.
We will ensure that during any event held we still comply with all hygiene and social distancing recommendations.
It has been a very difficult time for our sport and to be able to resume racing will be a benefit to all competitors, clubs and local communities.
Regards,
AORRA Board
