Capping off a memorable season, Brisbane’s Brice Derrick #696s has been awarded the 2022 ARB Mickey Thompson QLD Outright Championship, claiming the state’s highest of honours by the smallest of margins after the recent cancellation of the final round.
Derrick was a model of consistency across 2022. Kickstarting his campaign with a second outright at Federal, followed by a fourth at Moranbah, seventh place finishes at Dalby and Goondiwindi along with five class triumphs, Derrick in only his second year of racing, held off the Chapman brothers to add his name to an illustrious group of past QLD champions.
