
The 2025 Mickey Thompson ARB Queensland Off Road Championship kicks off this weekend with the highly anticipated PDS Dalby Short Course proudly supported by Remondis Speciality Services.
Held at Pat Philp’s property, ‘Weranga’ and hosted by the Gympie Auto Sport Club, this weekend’s 46 car strong field has attracted both seasoned veterans and rising stars of the sport.

Defending Dalby champion Christian Trusz #816 headlines a star-studded lineup of drivers entered for Round 1, including previous winners Richard Tassin #691 (2023) and Stuart Chapman #1014 (2022), eager to start their seasons on a high.

Other notable contenders include Tony Fehlhaber #138, defending QLD runner-up David Loughnan #104, Steven Kildey #412, Baja legend Kevy Nott #78, last year’s podium sitter Tyler Youman #527, Aaron Phillis #40, and speedster Lochlan Waters #699.
The battle for class positions is again expected to be fierce across the board, with Luke #690s and Darren Brandon #689s, Steven Orr #1051, Andrew Murphy #1031, John Moore #82, Pat Philp #182, Aaron Nicoll #665, Ross Newman #6674, Lincoln Staude #726, and Steven Ash #862 all key chances.

In addition, several up-and-coming drivers including Jackson Nott #6178, and Lincoln Wilcox #717, plus the two Future Champion entries Cameron Krog #6623, and Jack Musico #6688 will be looking to make an early season mark.
Fans can also look forward to seeing three female drivers on track vying for early bragging rights in the 2025 QLD Ladies championship, with Leila Chapman #616s, Anna Phillis #624s and Lara Brandon #689s set for action.

The 2025 PDS Dalby event will feature up to six sections, with each section consisting of 1-2 laps around a challenging 18 km track, which is a true test for all competitors.
