Zac Marsh #6140 and brother Kieran have charged home to record a 55 second victory at the weekends Emervale Short Course, Round 4 of the 2025 Mickey Thompson ARB Queensland Off Road Racing Championship, hosted by the Gympie Auto Sports Club.
Marsh was at his brilliant best in slippery conditions on Sunday, sprinting to the Emervale title despite rolling his new Class 6 Can Am R on the final day in the paddock section.

The former Queensland Off Road champion had to overcome a five second deficit on Sunday to secure his first triumph since the Mt Larcom Short Course in 2023.
Marsh survived a stern challenge from current QLD championship leader and eventual runner-up Aaron Nicoll #665, with both competitors finding the hilly and technical layout to their liking.
Continuing his consistent start to the 2025 season, Nicoll consolidated his lead atop the QLD standings on the back of two fourth outright finishes at Dalby and Burdekin.
Class 8 powerhouse Christian Trusz #816 claimed third in his Nissan Patrol after almost 100kms of racing, finishing 36 seconds behind Nicoll to round out the Emervale SC podium.

Tony Fehlhaber #138 backed up his runner up finish at Dalby with another strong finish in fourth, the Class 1 champion held off Class 6 podium sitter Conroy Devine #606 by just nine seconds, with the pair rounding out the Emervale top five.
Queensland stalwart Steven Kildey #412 entertained the crowds to a dominant Class 4 triumph in sixth, crossing ahead of Dalby winner Lochie Waters #699 and Ultimate champion Aaron Phillis #40 in seventh and eighth.

Andrew Murphy #1031 held off a late challenge from Jason Keane #1013 for Class 10 honours, with the two single seat competitors separated by just 26 seconds to rounded out the Emervale top ten.
Young gun Luke Brandon #690s returned to the winner’s circle in Class 6s, with his father Darren #689s in the second of the DRELLs Run Racing Polaris’s, and First Lady home Anna Phillis #624s collecting their own Emervale silverware.

In other results, Joshua Pile #762 made it back-to-back Class 7 titles, overcoming Junior champion Lincoln Wilcox #717 and Jack Huxstep #711, whilst Colin Gaven #295 prevailed over teammate Mark Andrew #295a and Amy Vann #287 in Class 2.
Class 5 victor Tyler Youman #527 rocketed his Hilux into twelfth outright, with Tony Butler #544 falling one lap short of full distance in second, whilst Burdekin Enduro runner up Matt Lawless #71 and Kelvyn Kruger #44 collected the remainder of the Ultimate prizes.
Ross Newman returned to the top of the Class 66 podium at Emervale, conquering Stephen Blake #6399 in his Yamaha, with David Loughnan #104, and Darren Angel #160 completing the Class 1 celebration.
Michael Bertinazzi #451, Brett Huxstep #881, Luke McNicol #865, Nicci Orr #1015, Lara Brandon #689sa, and Leila Chapman #616s were others to succeed at Emervale.
Cameron Krog #6623 claimed his first Future Champions victory of the season, finishing ahead of Dalby Victor Jack Musico #6688 who suffered a broken axle on Sunday’s penultimate heat.

Over three quarters of the field completed full distance at Esk, with notables not to finish including Troy Duff #25a, Tyson Howard #6168, Luke McNicol #865, Brett Baker #1026, Daniel Godfrey #60, and Guy Hicks #163.
