Martin Motorsport Honors Dedication & Sportsmanship at ARB Big Desert 480

The ARB Big Desert 480 off road racing event recently concluded, with significant support from Martin Motorsports. Their generous donation enabled the recognition of outstanding contributions from participants and volunteers:

Sportsmanship Award:

Awarded to racer #633 Matt Hummer for his notable act of sportsmanship. Matt paused his race for 10 minutes to assist another competitor, exemplifying the community spirit of the event.

Volunteer Award:

Josh McPhee, a new VORRA committee member from Rainbow, received this award for his dedication. Over the last three months, Josh has been instrumental in setting up and later restoring the track.

Persistence Award:

First-time ARB Championship competitor #626 Vaughan Hogan was recognized with the Persistence Award. Despite a few stops and challenges, Vaughan and his navigator, Sam Bell, completed the race, demonstrating remarkable determination.

Martin Motorsports’ donation not only supported these awards but also highlighted the community and perseverance at the heart of off road racing.

Thank you Martin Motorsport for your contributions.
