The Waikerie Riverland Offroad Association is excited to be opening entries to our 2021 New Riverland 300 event at 7pm on Tuesday 15th June for our 41st event over the weekend of the 17th & 18th July 2021, after a two-year hiatus due to drought and Covid preventing our race from going ahead.
It is the start of a new era with a completely new track and new location at New Well Station located 30km Southwest of Waikerie. The new facility will have a spectating area and room for campers to stay over the weekend. The Waikere Rotary club is set to be providing catering at the event.
The new 30km long track is looking to be one of the most exciting offroad tracks on the South Australian Offroad Racing calendar with exhilarating sand sections, tight scrubby sections that will suit technical drivers and fast straights that will suit the high-powered vehicles.
Entries are limited to 50, so do not wait around to get your entries in. The Waikerie club members have been working extra hard to put this year’s race together after several hurdles along the way and with the event organisation and planning now coming together, we are very excited to be launching this great new facility to the Offroad world.
Who will be be the inaugural winner at this great new track? Get your entry in if you want to have your name amongst the greats on the previous winners’ list.
Stay tuned for further information as the event draws closer.
