Frontal Head Restraint – rule change

Frontal Head Restraint – rule change

12th December 2019.
As part of the challenge to increase the safety of our sport and protect the safety of competitors, the following will take effect from January 1st 2020.

A Frontal Head Restraint to SFI 38.1 is a required safety item for all Drivers and Co-Drivers (formerly called navigators) competing in National and State Off Road Racing Events. This requirement does not apply to Club events, however, AASA strongly recommends their use in Club events.

Please be aware of these changes for the 2020 racing season and beyond.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact your state representative.

Regards,

AORRA Board
