The AORRA Board wishes to update you on the steps we are taking to manage the risks arising from the COVID-19 virus.
Recent Government decisions to limit gatherings, require travellers to self-isolate and promote social distancing highlight uncertainties and disruptions that are set to continue for some time.
Protecting the health of our competitors and officials is our first priority. To that end, we are complying with all health and safety recommendations from relevant authorities, including the Department of Health.
At the same time, we are making sure that we remain available to support you. Any events that go ahead during this time will receive the full support of AORRA and all health regulations and recommendations will be followed.
Everyone wants to go racing, and we will do our utmost to ensure events can go ahead if at all possible, whilst following all health and safety regulations. In saying that if any events cannot go ahead we will ensure everyone is notified at the earliest possible time.
For more information for event organisers please read the AASA release.
We will continue to adapt to circumstances as they change. We are committed to working with you and the rest of the community to make everyone as safe as possible.
Regards,
AORRA Board
